Nonprofit Demo Day

The Next Wave in Social Impact Investment

Where the innovation economy meets social impact, Nonprofit Demo Day connects forward-thinking nonprofits with tech entrepreneurs and professionals seeking meaningful opportunities to serve society through volunteering, board service or investment.

What is NonProfit Demo Day?

Nonprofit Demo Day was inspired by Silicon Valley’s demo days - a widely celebrated opportunity for startups to pitch to investors. We are bringing this concept to the nonprofit world.

A cohort of 12 selected nonprofits pitch to an audience from the tech community poised to engage with social impact organizations. This program is designed to encourage and support collaborative approaches that address the pressing challenges faced by the nonprofit sector today.

Current Situation

Innovation Knowledge Gap

Nonprofit leaders often lack access to the knowledge base and networks of the tech community. Strategic tech guidance remains an untapped resource for many mission-driven organizations.

Overwhelming Opportunities

The tech community seeks efficient methods to connect and engage with social impact organizations. There are tens of thousands of worthy causes in NYC. Finding the right match is challenging and time consuming.

Missing Connection Point

No efficient platform exists to bridge these two communities. Traditional ways of connecting are elusive and often cumbersome. Both sectors struggle to identify ideal partnerships and infinite opportunities are lost.

Our Solution

Silicon Valley Inspiration

Fast-paced pitch events connecting innovative ideas with investment capital - a known and efficient process we are adapting for social impact.

Nonprofit CEO Cohort

CEOs receive mentoring and workshops in this proven model, then take the stage on Demo Day, showcasing their missions to tech professionals seeking engagement in the social impact space.

Creating Connections

Nonprofit Demo Day brings both communities together, providing a fun and efficient platform to harness the energy of the tech economy for social good.

Nonprofit Demo Day is a soon-to-be 501(c)3 dedicated to transforming how nonprofits access the drive and expertise of the tech community.
